Each Shot Requires Inserting A Pellet When The Barrel Is In The Open Position. The Trigger Is Slightly Heavy With A Short Take-Up, Offering A Firm Feel That Some Shooters May Need Time To Adjust To. The Grip Safety At The Back Of The Grip Must Be Pressed For The Trigger To Function, Adding An Extra Layer Of Safety.
Accuracy: In Testing, The Umarex MarkPoint Demonstrated Solid Accuracy. With An Average Velocity Of 290 FPS Using Lead Flathead Pellets (8.2 Grains), The Pistol Performed Well At 30 Feet. Ten Shots Resulted In A Tight Grouping, With Most Shots Falling Within A 2-Inch Radius. The Sights Were Aligned Well Right Out Of The Box, Ensuring A Satisfying Shooting Experience.
Build Quality: For A Pellet Pistol Priced Around $50 Canadian, The Umarex MarkPoint Is Impressively Well-Made. It Feels Solid And Mechanically Tight, With A Modern Look That Stands Out. While The Construction Is Mostly Plastic, It Does Not Feel Cheap. The Grips Are Fairly Wide, Which May Pose A Challenge For Shooters With Smaller Hands.
Realism: The Umarex MarkPoint Features A Unique Design That Is Distinctly Modern And Futuristic. While It Is Not A Replica Of Any Real Steel Pistol, The Addition Of A Fake Ejection Port And Vented Barrel Enhances Its Visual Appeal, Making It An Attractive Option For Enthusiasts.

For me I think the deciding factor on how I feel about the Umarex Markpoint Break Barrel .177 Cal Pellet Pistol is going to come down to how it performs as I have my reservations on how accurate it is going to be and if it shoots true out of the box. I really hope the sights are dialed in out of the box since there is no way to adjust them or add a red dot or other sighting system. The heavy trigger will take a bit of getting use to also but once adjusted to it I should be able to get some decent groupings. For the price, if it turns out to be a decent shooter and you like the look of it, then by all means it would make a great target plinker that you should be able to get proficient at shooting with. I will leave my final thoughts for the Field Test Shooting video on this one… Read my full written review here: www.replicaairguns.com/posts/2024/10/8/umarex-markpoint-break-barrel-177-cal-pellet-pistol-table-top-review Buy the Umarex Markpoint Break Barrel .177 Cal Pellet Pistol in Canada: https://www.replicaairguns.ca/umarex-markpoint-177-pellet-barrel-pistol Buy the Umarex Markpoint Break Barrel .177 Cal Pellet Pistol in the US: https://www.replicaairguns.us/umarex-markpoint-177-spring-pistol
